A Weekend Of Adventures

A couple of weekends ago Ocean had many adventures. Not only did he enjoy his first rock show... He also had some fun at the West Fest. Here he rode with mommy and daddy on the ferris wheel. Daddy won him a cool little stuffed lion to take home and cuddle with.

Then, to cool off, we ate at the Mayan Restaurant. We had the best seats in the house.

We were able to watch two dive shows while we ate some yummy grub. Ocean thought this was pretty neato.

Then mommy got hungry at the Arts Festival. Ocean thinks it's hilarious when mommy eats him.

Ocean's First Rock Show

Rockin out at Warped Tour 2008. VIP style. This is Ocean's first concert ever (outside momma's belly) and he absolutely loved it. He was dancing before we even passed the front gate.

Chillin in the shade with his Uncle Brianhead. Showing off his drumming skills with the sticks he got backstage. Brian knew some of the bands playing and got us in with VIP passes. We were even able to stand in the sound booth during a few songs from We The Kings. Uncle Brianhead Rocks!

It was the most fun I've ever had at a Warped Tour cause Ocean was having such a blast. We even got to see one of Ocean's most favorite bands EVER, Every Time I Die. They rocked and played his favorite song at the end of their show.

After hours of head bangin and moshing in the hot sun, as you can see from this photo, Ocean was ready for a nap. As you can also see, he wasn't about to let go of his beloved drum sticks.

Grubbin Good Times

We like to camp out in the living room and watch movies. Ocean has a blast when we do this.

Ocean is almost 15 months old now and as cliche as it may sound, we can't imagine life without him. He makes each day sOoO much sweeter and he just amazes us with how quickly his brain soaks up information. To help remember moments and mark milestones, i will list 11 things about Ocean that make us go .. . Holy Shit! Did you see/hear that?

1. He loves brushing his teeth and taking splish splash baths.


2. I'll say to him.. . Go get momma a book and i'll read it to you. Then he'll run into his room and grab a couple books and run back over to me and plop in my lap ready for a good read.


3. He totally understands the concept of using a computer mouse and he uses it.


4. He understands the concept of using a remote control jeep, which is currently his favorite toy. Same with the T.V. remote controls, of course.


5. He thinks farting noises are absolutely hilarious.


6. The child is always dancing.


7. He finds it necessary to locate and feel the speakers anytime he hears music.


8. He's daddy's shadow when daddy's home.


9. He gives high fives.


10. He's the happiest baby when he wakes up.


11. He's a total goofball and a complete spaz.

Fishhhhshhh. ..

A new word that Ocean says everyday is fishhhh. He'll point to a fish when he sees them on his wall or in the fish bowls. Fishy is one of the many nick names i have for him but it's used most often - so he hears it a lot. My smart fishy.
