He loves to get into the CD's to play and he loves when Mommy plays the song called New Soul by Yael Naim. Another one of his current favorites is No One's Gona Love You by Band of Horses. He sure loves a good tune.

Crawling (Click Play)
Our little guy has been crawling for just under a couple of weeks now. He loves his new found freedom and has explored every room in the house. He has already figured out how to use it for his advantage. He'll follow me into the next room and look up at me with those sad Ocean eyes and cry for me to pick him up. After all that effort, who am I to say no?

Sitting With Santa
He looks a little worried huh? Well, he didn't cry. Of course, the first thing he did was go for the beard.
This will be Ocean's first Christmas and our first Christmas as one little happy family. We are having so much fun with all of the milestones that seem to happen with each minute. Again, his first word was Momma (of course) and he has even started saying Da da. He knows quite a few words in sign language and he understands some words in Spanish too.
He still doesn't want to crawl but that doesn't stop him from getting to where he wants to go. He's a sidewinder and it cracks me up to watch him crawl backwards.
At just over 8 months old now he's developed quite a preference in music. Anytime he hears a tune he likes or recognizes he rocks out to it by rocking back and forth, bopping his head up and down, and waving his arms about. He's recently started to wave and point, especially when he wants Mommy's attention. And here lately, when he is sleeping, he dreams of sugar plums.

Snowy Weather
It snowed a lot this time. A good 6 inches. I don't think he likes the snow all that much... yet. Maybe it's just that I have to put him down for a minute but he doesn't enjoy sitting in it for very long. However, he sure does look cuddly in that snow suit he got from his Aunt Becky.
He just smiles and talks to this horsey on a stick that he got from his Grandmahead. It makes noises and I think he thinks it's real sometimes.B Boy Video
He loves this song! Every time Chris Brown's kiss kiss comes on he can't help but dance. He will dance only to the songs he likes but busts a move when he hears something with a good beat. My little B boy... wonder where he gets that from?

Snow Day
Look at that mug. So it was the first snow fall of the year in the big valley of SLC and I thought Ocean might want to enjoy it. Well, he was having a bad day and I figured the snow might cheer him up. I was wrong. He played in it for a good five minutes and he'd had enough. I have a feeling he might be into it next time when he's had a better day.

After playin hard in the cold snow (for 5 minutes) a warm bath was in order...
