this lil party animal would have stayed up all night if we let him. he couldn't get enough drum playin with the boys or receive enough smooches from the gals at uncle billy's birthday extravaganza.

our lil smarty pants is just so dang... well.. smart and doesn't always wear pants. at 22 months old he is learning to communicate in 3 languages and yes, i AM bragging. he even has a spanish accent when he speaks spanish - so funny. here, he is signing the word more. evidently he wanted more goodies.

Snow Day

All Aboard The Polar Express

we took Ocean to see santa at the north pole via polar express. we hung out with the elves and santa and mrs. claus while we snacked on chocolate chip cookies and sipped hot chocolate and we sang jolly songs and. ..

i was taking photos of him sleeping. apparently he could sense it cause i woke him up and accidentally took a photo of him opening his eyes. i love those sleepyhead eyes.

Making Christmas

right around the time i got pregnant chris sketched this here drawing. about a year and a half later i took the photo of Ocean below. i hadn't noticed the similarity until some time ago but keep meaning to post it. the resemblance is uncanny.

there just may be hope for our boys future after all. mommy and daddy were sure to take part in this historical event. the gals at the voting polls were charmed with Ocean, of course, and gave him an "i voted" sticker too.
