Glowing Necklace

So we went on the Heber Valley Haunted Train ride and as you may have guessed, Ocean had fun. i think his favorite part was this glowing necklace we got him right before the ride. he thought the ghosts that were haunting the train were cool too. scared, he was not.

First Hair Cut

So we finally did it. Got the hair cut. First day in October, Ocean and i cruised on over to Cookie Cutters and he got his first hair did. The stylist chopped him up good while he cruised around in his hot rod and watched spongebob squarepants on the tube. i was amazed at how perfectly behaved he was. this first photo is the after shot. just look at that pose.

And this is why he got a hair cut. .. i wanted my child to be able to see where he was going. sure do miss them lovely locks though. .

he likes to use this table as a chair. he'll often climb up there with a book and just chill.

Where Oh Where Did Summer Go?

Me oh my how the summer flew by. We sure did a lot and sure had some good times. This photo demonstrates something we did a whole lot of this summer... the drive in. Nearly every Friday night our lil family will cuddle up in the back of the explorer and enjoy a couple of good flicks. Here, Ocean gestures what he thinks of mom and dads Friday night outings. . .

Ha! really, he loves it.

Utah State Fair 2008

Uncle Schmete came for a visit this summer and Ocean couldn't have had a better time while he was here. After all, we went on so many adventures during his stay... we had a bbq with the gang, went miniature golfing, went to the Hogle Zoo, ate at the adventurous Mayan Restaurant, and played some cards. Not a chance in hell this child had a boring summer.

Labor Day BBQ In The Rain

Even though it rained on us, we were successful in one last BBQ this Labor Day. Some tasty grub, some good friends, some dice, some rain, and some nose pickin never hurt nobody.
