right around the time i got pregnant chris sketched this here drawing. about a year and a half later i took the photo of Ocean below. i hadn't noticed the similarity until some time ago but keep meaning to post it. the resemblance is uncanny.

Ocean is SO my child! he loves eyeballs...they fascinate him. so he had fun with these funny eyeball glasses his nawni gave him.

aunti bobos and uncle brian Ocean sat for us on our anniversary and as you can plainly see here... Ocean was hoping we would have stayed out longer. ..

the leaves and the light and the tree and the colors all beg to be photographed at the start of fall. the child couldn't be more used to the camera, of course.

Ocean Grubs at Benihana

Ocean had some good times on mommy's birthday this year. we celebrated the occasion at benihanas and it was worth every cent. Ocean indulged his little taste buds in lobster, filet mignon, shrimp, teriyaki beef, hibachi chicken, veggies, rice, strawberry icecream... and did i mention strawberry icecream?

They are both saying..."ENOUGH with the camera!"
